Short biography - Li-Jia Qu Professor Li-Jia Qu is a professor at the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, a Chong Kong Scholar of the Ministry of Education of China, a recipient of National Outstanding Youth Fund of Natural Science Foundation of China and a New Cornerstone Investigator. Professor Qu has long been focusing his research on the identification of peptide signals and their corresponding receptors controlling sexual reproduction in angiosperms. As a corresponding author, he has published over a hundred research papers in journals such as Science, Cell, Nature Plants, PNAS, Current Biology, Cell Research, Molecular Plant, Plant Cell, and more. Currently, he serves as the vice president of the International Association of Sexual Plant Reproduction Research (IASPRR), a member of the advisory board for Molecular Plant and an editor in Plant Cell, Plant Genetics, National Science Review, Science China Life Science, Journal of Integrative Plant Biology, and etc. |
